Tested: Onomie Powerful Priming Serum

Onomie has seriously set the bar high with this one! I'm constantly battling with my hyper pigmentation left behind by past acne scars AND fighting the clock to keep my makeup looking less like a greasy ocean and more like that fresh AM glow!  Due to these concerns, it is all too fitting that I would need a primer such as this one to save me from both of the big issues I deal with on the daily!  Onomie has truly delivered on both of these fronts( and much more)! I haven't stopped reaching for this product in my morning routine ever since I started using it.  If actions aren't a testament to the efficacy of a product, then what is?

Onomie Powerful Priming Serum

Ingredients:

This product has Daisy flower extract which is great at brightening the skin. The Willowbark extract helps keep the skin smooth. The Blackjack botanical is the key to increasing collagen production for more supple skin.  The Chaparral helps even skin texture and, of course, the ever faithful Vitamin C helps fight free radicals!

Experience:
I am just so incredibly impressed with this serum!  I had the amazing opportunity to test out a much earlier stage primer when I hung out with the Onomie team a while back (side note, they are lovely and so keen on what their customers want!).  This final product truly blew me away on all fronts and I am so in love with it!  First of all, I find that this primer really helps with my overall complexion right after applying it.  The immediate results are that it brightens up my skin and gives a more even complexion.  There are tiny shimmer particles that are visible once the product is pumped out of the tube, however, these particles are not visible once they are blended in.  They lend to a very lit from within glow for the face after even application.  The serum never once irritated my skin and I love how light and non-slippery it felt on my face.  I usually hate traditional primers with their "slippery" feeling as I find it to be heavy on the skin.  This primer sunk right in as I applied it.

I wore this under my makeup for the past 1-2 weeks and truly put it to the test with my busy 10 hour days.  I'm currently doing clinic shifts as I'm working towards an Acupuncture/ Oriental Medicine degree and license so I am definitely always in action and moving around every single day of the week.  I've always had my makeup last quite well throughout the day, but my foundation would end up slipping and sliding by the last few hours of the long day.  I have combination to oily skin, so it was quite understandable that it would do so.  Enter this primer.  I no longer have to deal with the an extremely shiny complexion at the end of the day.  This primer was able to keep my complexion lower on the shine and higher on the satin/even side.

Lastly, I'd like to touch base on the effects it gives beyond that of keeping my face makeup proper throughout the day! Onomie does claim that this helps with skin texture and tone as well as radiance after long term use.  While I've only been using it for the past ~2 weeks, I can definitely tell that my skin does seem to be more even in texture.  I cannot say with certainty that it is only due to the primer as I've also been using great moisturizers and night oils, but I do see my skin changing for the better.

I seriously love how this primer performs and I can say, without a doubt, that this has been my favorite primer I've ever used to date.  It just agrees so well with my skin!  It's changed how my makeup looks, but it has also helped with the skin underneath.  That is so important to me.  These days, I'm feeling radically radiant.

Big Love,

Vanessa
