Pacifica Super Powder Supernatural Eyeshadow Trio (Stone, Cold, Fox)
Consistency: It claims on the packaging that this formulation is a cream to powder finish. Here's the thing, this didn't turn into a powder for me. What it did, however, was become a nice satin finish on my eyelids with build-able color and easy application(with clean fingertips). The color looks quite opaque on the fingers upon first swipe but is sheer on application. Fret not, this product builds in color just fine and is able to intensify in color. You won't be able to get an extremely bold look with this trio, but if you are looking for a nice, easy everyday look then this is for you. This was exactly what I was looking for, so I had no problems with the finish.
The colors were not specified on the packaging as to which was Stone, Cold, or Fox. Here is what I assume:
Stone: A mauve-y color with shimmer specks that give a nice wet-gleam on the eyelids.
Cold: A yellow-based white shimmer color (shimmer is more obvious with this one).
Fox: A reddish brown color and the darkest in the trio.
Ingredients:
Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, copernicia prunifera (carnauba) wax, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), oryza sativa (rice starch), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, argania spinosa (argan) kernal oil, tocopherol (vitamin E), kaolin.
May contain: titanium dioxide, iron oxides (ci 77492, ci 77491, ci 77499), ultramarines, manganese violet
Experience: These colors are great upon application, but they sheered out considerably on my eyelids in a 10 hour wear day. The colors are still there, they are just less obvious. A pro that I've found with this product is that, even with 10 hours of wear, the eyeshadow had very minimal creasing on one eye and none on the other. I simply swiped my finger across the crease and the situation was fixed.
L-R: Pacifica Natural Eyeliner (Fringe), Pacifica Super Powder Supernatural Eyeshadow Trio (Assuming: Cold, Stone, Fox)
Consistency: This thing is as soft as butter. That is a great thing because you don't have to drag the pencil across your sensitive eyelid. This is so easy to apply and it stays put once you've finished. The color is a nice warm brown that is opaque and shows up just fine on the eyes.
Ingredients:
hydrogenated simmondsia chinensis seed oil, iron oxide CI 77499, mica, iron oxide CI 77491, iron oxide CI 77492, hydrogenated vegetable oil, caprylic / capric triglyceride, simmondsia chinensis seed oil, butyrospermum parkii butter, canola oil, sclerocarya birrea seed oil, candelilla cerifera cera, glyceryl caprylate, copernicia cerifera cera, tocopherol, helianthus annuus seed oil, ascorbyl palmitate
Experience: I've worn this liner out on my upper eyelid for about 10 hours and haven't had issues with this smudging or wearing off in color. The lower waterline, however, was a different story. This smudges and fades quite quickly on the waterline, and I wouldn't suggest you to use it for that purpose. It is a great natural option for an upper eyeliner, though. Thankfully, I usually only wear eyeliner on my upper eyelid so I've found that this pencil works great for my purposes.

These both look gorgeous! I'm glad that less chemical-ladden options are becoming more affordable and easily available.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment!❤️ I definitely agree, I love how these are carried at sites like IHerb and Vitacost and can be found at Target too! Sooner or later we won't have to go to just Whole Foods to find great options now that Target is expanding in that direction as well. Hopefully more stores take their lead and start carrying a larger range of natural products!
DeleteLovely shades!
