Collectively Curated: Elizabeth Dehn (Beauty Bets) for One Love Organics - Vitamin C Serum, Vitamin E Eye Balm, Vitamin D Moisture Mist, Vitamin B Cleansing Oil

I've always been one to use samples first before splurging on skincare.  My skin is especially sensitive to oils and balms, even so, I'm always on the hunt for a holy grail oil cleanser or balm that I can use without irritation.  You can imagine my excitement when I found out that One Love Organics had a sampling option for both their original line as well as their popular ED4OLO Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics line at Integrity Botanicals!  I immediately ordered the samples with high hopes especially since I've seen such rave reviews about the amazing pineapple scent of the products and the effectiveness of each and every product in the line!  I can say that, yes, these products smell delicious and, yes, they work incredibly well!  I do, however, have my own personal favorites and least favorites that I'll be discussing below.

ED4OLO Vitamin E Eye Balm

Consistency: This is a thick, solid balm that slowly melts after the product is rubbed between fingertips.  It was a bit difficult to pick up the product from the sample tub but I just used a small scraper to take out the product as hygienically as possible.  I melted the product between my fingers and applied a thin layer underneath my eyes with little drag as I spread the product.  It is definitely a richer product in that it took a while for it to sink in.  Here are the ingredients for your consideration (it is no surprise that shea butter is at the top of the list!):

butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter*, jojoba esters (and) tocopherol, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, punica granatum (pomegranate) sterols, adansonia digitata (baobab) oil*, aspalathus linearis (rooibos) extract*, centella asiatica (gotu kola) extract*, euphrasia officinalis (eyebright) extract*, caprylic/capric triglyceride (and) alaria esculenta (kelp) extract, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil*, foeniculum vulgare (fennel) essential oil*
*Ingredients from Organic Farming
Experience:  I used this purely as my night eye balm since I've been testing it due to its heavy and hydrating nature.  I appreciate the texture of the balm for its moisturizing ability, especially on those drier nights.  I don't have particularly puffy under eyes or lines due to my age, however, I do suffer from dark circles (as seen by my previous under eye concealer review).  I found that, in the almost two months of testing this product, my dark circles were not lessened significantly.  I can see how this balm would be perfect for those with drier under eyes or those with mature skin, however, I do not currently have those issues so I cannot personally attest to those effects.  What I DID enjoy about this balm was the comfortable, moisturized feeling I had upon application right after cleansing my face.  I was careful not to apply too much at one time as it can get quite heavy easily.
L: ED4OLO Vitamin D Moisture Mist   R: ED4OLO Vitamin E Eye Balm (Top: Solid, Bottom: Melted)

Consistency: This is an amazing mist unlike other facial mists out there.  The texture is more gel/light oil-based than a normal water-based facial spray and I truly believe that is what lends to the success of the moisturizing effects in this moisture mist.  The mist sprays on clear so it was extremely difficult to try to capture it in the image above.  It immediately sinks into the skin and does not leave behind any residue whatsoever.  The ingredients are listed below for your consideration:
aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, rhododendron ferrugineum (alpine rose) extract (and) glycerin*, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) oleosomes (and) aqua, oryza sativa (rice) extract (and) lentinus edodes (mushroom) extract*, caprylic/capric triglyceride (and) rose extract, dehydroacetic acid (and) benzyl alcohol

Experience: I loved spritzing this mist immediately after cleansing during my morning routine.  It gave my skin a huge wake-up call and a smooth suppleness that I never experienced before from other facial sprays.  This allowed my skin to be a great base for the rest of my morning skincare routine so that by the time I applied my makeup, my skin had a lit-from-within glow and a smooth surface for the makeup.  The supple feeling of my skin lasted for the rest of the day.  One Love Organics states on their website that this spray has a unique time-release effect for lasting hydration and I definitely concur to those results.  I would definitely purchase the full size( and isn't that the ultimate nod to the worth of the product?).
Consistency: This is a brightening facial oil that I found to be on the medium-thicker consistency.  I must forewarn you that my description of thick is anything heavier than a liquid, oil texture akin to the Kypris Beauty Elixir III.  The reason that I call this "thick" for my skin is because my skin is specifically sensitive to medium-heavier oils and I am usually so uncomfortable under those types of oils that I tend to feel the need to wash them off immediately after applying them.  I applied this on only my cheeks when I tested this as it was too moisturizing for the rest of my face.  I found that this facial oil/serum spread easily as I applied it but took a few minutes(~5-10) to sink in to my face.  I still felt a slight residue afterwards, however, but that may just be my sensitive skin coming into play. I feel that this would be perfect for those who have drier skin types or mature skin.  Here are the ingredients for your consideration:
simmondsia chinesis (jojoba) seed oil*, butyrospermum parkii (shea) oil*, camellia sinensis (green tea) seed oil*, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, jojoba esters (and) tocopherol, capric/caprylic triglyceride (and) humulus lupulus (hops) strobile, adansonia digitata (baobab) oil*, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil (and) malpighia glabra (acerola) fruit extract*, rosa canina (rosehip) oil*, hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) oil*, rose extract, ascorbyl palmitate
*Ingredients from Organic Farming
Experience: I applied this during my night time routine and only on my cheeks, as stated before.  This oil has a clean, fresh scent that I did not personally find offensive.  Although this oil/serum was heavier in consistency than I would have preferred, I still found it to impart a nice glow to my cheeks(as did all of the products in this line).  I usually applied this when my face was still a bit damp so that the oil/serum could sink in easier than if I had applied it on dry skin.  I believe that I may not have used this enough or for a long enough period of time to see drastic results in brightening, however, I did notice that my skin was less dull upon waking up in the morning after applying this the night prior.  I did not notice a huge difference in the pigmentation of my scars, but once again, I may not have applied this enough to see drastic results.  Ultimately, I truly wanted to love this product but I did not reach for this very often after the first month of use due to the consistency being too heavy for my sensitive skin.

L: ED4OLO Vitamin C Brightening Facial Serum  R: ED4OLO Vitamin B Enzyme  Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover
Consistency: This is an extremely light cleansing oil that is the very first of its kind that has allowed me to skip the use of a muslin or cleansing cloth to remove the cleansing oil residue.  I apply a quarter sized amount of this onto my dry skin which spreads easily as I massage it into the skin.  Just as easily, I am able to wash off this cleansing oil with water leaving no residue behind.  Can we please just take a few minutes to appreciate the glory of this cleansing oil that has managed to solve all of our hidden trials and tribulations with other oils?  The ease of use due to the consistency of this product has sold me through and through.  Here are the ingredients for your consideration:
helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, oleic sunflower oil polyglyceryl-6 esters, oleic sunflower oil polyglyceryl-10 esters, lecithin (and) cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil (and) papain*, lactobacillus/papaya fruit ferment extract (and) carica papaya (papaya) seed oil, tocopherol, fragrance/parfum

Experience: Let's get straight to the point, this is my favorite product of this line and quite possibly my favorite product from One Love Organics.  The smell of pineapples immediately after dispensing this product is a spa-like experience within itself.  The ease of use and effectiveness of this product to take off all of my makeup as well as cleanse my face with one fell muslin-cloth-less swoop is enough to win me over.  I love this cleansing oil and will be purchasing this once I finish my current cleanser.  I have used this until the sample bottle is empty and every single night it has left my face feeling cleansed and moisturized with no sticky residue or uncomfortable oiliness.  I have used this product during days when I went make-up less and during days when I wore heavier make-up and it has done a great job of cleansing my face on both occasions.  I have wiped my face with a toner and cotton pad after cleansing on the days when I used this as a makeup remover and have found only small traces of eyeliner on my lower-lash line still left.  I still find that this is the best cleansing oil I have used to date as I don't mind that a tiny bit of my eyeliner was left while the rest of my face was completely cleansed and makeup free.  The last plus is that this did not cause any skin aggravations for me whatsoever.  I experienced moisturized, clean, and supple skin after each cleanse.
Thank you so very much for reading through this massive post!  I've definitely become a huge fan of Elizabeth Dehn of Beauty Bets after trying her amazing line with One Love Organics.  Although some products did not work out so well for my skin type, I still found others that are now my holy grails in each of their respective departments! I'd love to hear your opinions about ED4OLO products in the comments below(especially if you've had different experiences than mine)!
Big Love,
Vanessa

    1. Hey!
Same here! I have been intrigued by their gardenia + tea body spray as well as the Vitamin C polish! I'm waiting for their Black Friday sale though( so far away)! Usually their price range is a bit high for me to splurge on, at least for now!

      Big love,

      Vanessa

  2. Their cleansing oil is my absolute favorite! I'm never using another makeup remover again haha. I also tried a sample of their body oil, but didn't think it was worth the price tag!

    1. Hey Catherine!

I agree, the cleansing oil is definitely my favorite product to date. The issue I have is also with the price as they have quality products however they are quite expensive and are considered splurge items for me. Thank you so very much for reading and commenting!

      Big love,
