[Haul] iHerb Haul: Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation (Neutral 2) & Kuumba Made Zen Rain

I'm sure you might have guessed by now that I prefer shopping online. I find the process of going to a physical store, sifting through products just to have a chance of finding what you want, and then waiting for what feels like eternity at the checkout to be incredibly tiring and not very beneficial to me time-wise. I also love shopping for my green beauty online because there is SO much more selection online. Shopping at iHerb has always been an amazing experience for me for several reasons. They have a huge inventory of affordable green beauty among various other household necessities and vitamins/minerals. I am also a huge sucker for free shipping which they offer with a mere minimum of $20. Lastly, they have a great rewards program that is easy to understand and even easier to earn points in. Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation (Neutral 2)*

Ingredients:

Mica, lauroyl lysine, zinc stearate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, titanium dioxide (Cl 77891), zinc oxide (Cl 77947), boron nitride, ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), hydrolyzed mango juice extract, hydrolyzed garcinia mangostana (mangosteen) fruit extract, camellia sinensis (white tea) leaf extract, alaria esculenta (sea kelp) extract, aspalathus linearis (rooibos red tea) leaf extract, glycrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, punica granatum (pomegranate) seed extract, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), sambucus nigra fruit (elderberry), phenoxyethanol. Experience: 

This pressed powder foundation is extremely finely milled. I chose the shade Neutral 2 since Neutral 1 was too light for my fair-light neutral skin tone.  I loved how this applied as it has quite good coverage that is very buildable.  Neutral 2 matches my skin shade perfectly and I'm so glad that I was able to go through an easy and quick exchange for the right shade (more about this is covered below).  This wore well throughout the day though I've only worn it over the weekend when my days were not as strenuous.  My face did have a bit of oil peek through on the T-zone after about 7-8 hours but I've had the same issue with all of the other face powders I've owned in the past.  I love how affordable, compact, and high performance this product is and am definitely considering repurchasing this!  I am excited to see what else Mineral Fusion has to offer as I've already placed another iHerb order for their lipstick!

Kuumba Made Zen Rain*

Ingredients:

Kuumba Made's exquisite fragrances contain oils and resins from flowers, plants, roots, and trees. 

Experience: 

I've tested Kuumba Made's Persian Garden beforehand and had caught a whiff of Zen Rain the last time I was in Whole Foods. This fragrance has an intense clean floral scent. The official description of the scent also mentions that it has scents of violets and orchids as well as moss and fern. I love to apply this on my wrists and neck as well as the ends of my hair. I discovered that the scent carries much longer on my hair than on my skin. The  scent usually lasts about an hour or two before I have to reapply. However, I adored this product because of the amazing scent and how inoffensive the scent was. This isn't overpowering at all. I also didn't mind reapplying this perfume because the bottle is very small and compact. The packaging is also extremely beautiful. I have ordered a bigger size of Persian Garden from iHerb after I tested this scent because I actually love the musky scent of Persian Garden more than Zen Rain and I own the smaller size of the scent. I've found that iHerb is one of the few carriers of the larger size of these Kuumba Made scents at a great price.

I really wanted to make a note of how amazing iHerb's shipping and customer service was for all of my orders with them. I initially ordered shade Neutral 1l from Mineral Fusion and when I found that the shade was too light and there was a bit of powder outside of the compact, I contacted iHerb. They immediately sent me a return shipping label and placed a new order of Mineral Fusion Neutral 2 at no extra cost to me. Their shipping is incredibly fast since they are located in California as am I. I typically get an update of my shipment status within a day of placing my order and I receive my order typically around 1-2 days after I receive my shipment notification. I just absolutely enjoyed my customer service experience with iHerb and felt it important to note this in my review of their site!
