Honest Beauty is quickly becoming a larger part of my everyday
makeup routine. I've learned that there are several hit-or-misses in the line
and I'm here to break down another few products for you. On today's lineup is the Honest Beauty
eyeliner in Jet Black, Refreshingly Clean Powder Cleanser, and the Even Younger
eye cream. I've found that I'm more particular to their makeup offerings than
their skincare lineup. However, I've
grown particularly fond of their powder cleanser and eye cream! It was very much
a happy surprise this month and I'm more than excited to share it with you!

Experience:
I absolutely enjoyed using this cleanser and am considering
repurchasing once I've tried more Honest Beauty products ( and honestly, I need
a bit more time to go through the rest of my cleanser collection). The cleanser comes in individually packaged,
one-time-use powder packets. I use this
by opening the bag and pouring out all of the powder into my palm where I mix
it with some rice water or just plain tap water. I find that it's more soothing and creamy
with rice water. The consistency turns
into a milky paste that I then lather on my face and wash clean. My face feels so clean, soft, and not
stripped after using the cleanser. I have tried several other powder cleansers
including some Asian varieties back in the day as well as the Josie Maran
powder cleanser and this one still comes out on top for me. My only qualm would be that they do not give
you very many packets (15-20 uses) per order which does not really seem like a
good deal to me. Otherwise, this is a
knockout product.

Experience:
This eye cream was a complete surprise in the best way
possible. While my favorite eye cream
has been the 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream, this eye cream is the one that I
reach for when my eyes feel more parched than usual. This is a thick white cream with a very in
distinct herbal scent that glides and blends extremely easily into the under
eye area. It sinks in very quickly and
moisturizers the under eye very well.
While I cannot attest to any major benefits regarding wrinkle reduction
or brightening, I can say that I've had very nourished and comfortable under
eyes since using this.

Experience:
This eyeliner was a miss for me.
While it isn't a bad eyeliner by any means, I do find that I prefer my
Pacifica eyeliner more due to the creamier consistency. This eyeliner is more
on the dry side. However, it does
produce a very black line that generally stays put throughout the day. I do
find that I see a bit of smudging after a 10-hour wear day, however, I can
easily wipe that off without an issue. I
find that the eyeliner does drag on the eyelid due to its drier formulation and
I cannot make as straight a line as I would if I was using a creamier
formulation. The color is a hit but the
consistency is not. Honest Beauty does
give you quite a large amount for one eyeliner so I do find it to be a good
deal, especially for those who are just starting to get into the green beauty
realm. I also enjoy that they attached a
smudge brush on one end of the pencil so that its great for easy, on-the-go
application for several different looks.
