Collectively Curated: Mun Anarose Toner, May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden, ED4OLO Vitamin D Mist

Valentine's Day is a day popularized for the love of others, but I think that what's more important is to have a personal Valentine's Day with self love every single day.  The reason why I love skincare so much is that I find my beauty ritual each night is a representation of self love and the actions I take to take care of myself.  My routine changes a little each night, but I always reach for a trusty spray toner after each wash.  This essential first step is so important to me as I find that, with a good toner, all the best qualities of the products I use afterwards is enhanced.  I used to have the notion that toners were just an optional first step in a routine to re-hydrate your skin. I've found that that is not the case for three amazing toners that can stand all on their own as stellar products.

ED4OLO Vitamin D Mist

Mun No.11 Anarose Rejuvenating Rose Toner

Consistency: This toner has a more viscous consistency just like the One Love Organics Vitamin D Mist.  It has a soothing texture between that of a liquid and a gel.   It takes a while longer to fully absorb into the skin than other pure liquid toners. This has a delicate rose scent.

Ingredients:
De-ionized Water, Rose Hydrosol* (Rose Water), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice*,
Maltodextrin, Opuntia Ficus-Indica (Prickly Pear) Stem Extract, Lycium Barbarum Fruit (Goji Berry) Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract*, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower Extract, Bellis Perennis (Daisy) Flower Extract,
Xanthan Gum,Vegetable Glycerin, Dehydroacetic Acid**, Benzyl Alcohol**.

*Certified ORGANIC
**Naturally derived preservative

Experience: The moisture that I get from this toner is unreal! This is amazing for leaving my skin soft and supple.  I wasn't such an advocate for rose toners before this product as I found that other rose toners I used before didn't really do much more for my skin than any other water-infused toner in the market.  This toner was a game changer as I often don't need to add too much product after spritz in this on my face to gain the moisture levels I want.  This is a lovely product that truly delivers on giving me baby-soft skin.  This was a generous gift for Christmas, but I'd be open to saving up and re-purchasing this in the future! I've been so addicted to his product that I find I'm going through the product very fast.

May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden

Consistency: This toner is more traditionally a liquid than the other two toners above.  This has a heavy floral scent that I had to get used to at first.  I love how light this toner is!

Ingredients:
pure water (aqua),* hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel), argentinum metallicum (silver), jasmine (jasmine) grandiflorum absolute, caprylic/capric triglyceride, Jasminum officinale (jasmine) extract,*rosa damascena (rose) oil,* Cananga odorata (ylang-ylang) oil,* vanilla planifolia (vanilla) CO2 total essential oil, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) oil.

*Certified Organic

This product is gluten-free and vegan.

Experience: I love how soothing this toner is! This product also gives me great, supple skin albeit with a bit less lasting moisture than the Mun Anarose Toner.  I love how light this toner is and I can definitely say that this would be my toner choice for those hot summer days.  This is incredibly refreshing and I love the spray nozzle of this toner as it gives a fine, even mist.  I find that this mist, just like the other two, reduces irritation or redness on my face after cleansing.  May Lindstrom is all about having a great personal beauty ritual and giving your skin the best of the best.  This product truly lives up to her ethos!

What are your favorite toners and how are you prepping for Valentines Day?

Big Love,

Vanessa

  1. oo thanks for this! I will have to try out the MUN toner! I tried the Vitamin D toner recently and, tbh, it wasn't all that. It kind of bummed me out as so many people hyped it. Sad it didn't work for me!

    1. Oh no! I truly enjoyed the Vitamin D toner so maybe it just depends on the person and their skin type? I found that it moisturizer my skin so well and was wonderful to prep for oils. I'd definitely recommend trying the MUN! Seriously one of the most amazing toners I've ever tried!
