Tested: Rituel de Fille Inner Glow Cream Blush ( Lovesick )

I've been eyeing Rituel de Fille and their beautiful lineup ever since I saw them on Jenny's site a while ago.  I've since had the opportunity to test out the item that I coveted the most, the Inner Glow Cream Blush in Lovesick.  This is the first ever cream blush that I've owned in a color that suits me( I received a cream blush from Petit Vour prior to this purchase that I never wore since it came off as purple on my cheeks).  I've been very pleased with the Lovesick color as well as the performance of this product!  I've definitely been reaching for this blush more than my others as of late for the quality of the product, not just because of the gorgeous whimsical packaging!

Consistency: I find that it's extremely easy for me to apply this blush in the mornings, even when I'm pressed for time, because of the blendable, creamy nature of the product.  I simply swipe my fingers across the top of the blush and a layer of opaque pigment settles on my clean fingertips.  The consistency of the blush does differ depending on the weather, but even during colder days, I find that I just have to press my finger with a bit more pressure and the product easily softens up for me to use.  Upon application, the product glides and blends extremely easily without too much tugging at my skin.  I can easily build up the color of this blush as barely-there or intense pigment-wise.  The packaging is also very easy to carry when traveling( just a side note for those who are traveling this summer)!  Here is a list of the ingredients for your consideration:

Ingredients in this color: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Silica (Silicon Dioxide), Lanolin USP, Titanium Dioxide [CI 77891], Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Carmine [CI 75470], Iron Oxide [77492], Bronze Powder, Carnauba Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Hexylene Glycol
Do note that this does contain Carmine(sadly) so it is not Vegan.

Experience: As I said previously, I've been reaching for this blush above others during my mornings as I get ready to leave for downtown.  I had to get accustomed to just using my fingers to blend instead of grabbing a brush since all of my other blushes are powders!  After the first few days, application became a breeze as I perfected my blush ratio to just three light taps of a product-loaded finger on each side of my cheeks.  Blending out the three dots gave me an even, flushed appearance with a soft touch of rosy pink.  I absolutely love the color Lovesick as it is a nice soft rose that is right up my alley and perfectly suitable for my complexion.  There are days where I've built up the pigment too much but I could easily remedy that with adding some tinted moisturizer on top.  Most days, I get the application process down just fine and the blush lasts with the same pigment on my cheeks for as long as my day goes before I removed the makeup (~10-11 hrs.).  I have tried this product on my lips but although the color is the same beautiful rose as it is on my cheeks, I find that the formula does nothing for my dry lips.  It does not moisturize them at all and, although the color stays put, it tends to dry them out.  Therefore, I tend to use this product on my cheeks for the most part.

  1. Their products are so bewitching! I've been eyeing their Amber and Ash Eye Soots, and they just recently came out with a new shade called Half Light, which is a pretty taupe.
